Since its inception in 2022, the TIRI Awards have received enthusiastic recognition from the industry, establishing themselves as one of the most representative investor relations (IR) accolades in Taiwan’s capital market. Building on the standards of previous years, TIRI selects outstanding companies and individuals based on objective indicators such as the Corporate Governance Evaluation results and stock liquidity metrics (e.g., average turnover rate and trading value). Through a professional voting mechanism, the Awards spotlight excellence in investor relations practices across Taiwan. This initiative aims to encourage companies to place greater emphasis on information transparency, fair disclosure, and effective shareholder communication, thereby enhancing corporate value and global reputation, and aligning Taiwan more closely with international capital market standards.
TIRI AwardsEvaluation Process
1.Companies are categorized into five groups based on their listing board—either the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) or the Taipei Exchange (TPEx)—and market capitalization, as of June 30 of the award year. 2.From the previous year’s Corporate Governance Evaluation, companies ranked in the top 35% are shortlisted. 3.Based on data from January 1 to June 30, companies are evaluated by a composite score of their average daily turnover rate and trading value. The top 30 companies in each group are selected as nominees. 4.All shortlisted companies are notified. After excluding those who opt out, institutional investors and financial media representatives vote, selecting one winner from each group, resulting in a total of five awarded companies. 5.Each winning company is invited to nominate one Investor Relations Officer (IRO) for individual recognition. 6.Final nominees are reviewed and approved by the TIRI Executive Committee, with the winners announced and honored at the TIRI Annual Conference.
