Chunghwa Telecom Co., Ltd. Deputy Spokesperson Fu-Fu Shen

In collaboration with TIRI, the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) shares practical investor relations (IR) experiences in the "Securities Services Bimonthly" column. In the May 2020 issue, there was a special interview with Ms. Shen Fufu, Assistant Manager of Public Affairs and Deputy Spokesperson at Chunghwa Telecom Co., Ltd., who is also the Chairman of our association.
 
Ms. Shen has been involved in investor relations work since 2000 when Chunghwa Telecom prepared for its first issuance of American Depositary Receipts (ADR). She has since been involved in three ADR issuances in 2003, 2005, and 2006. Currently, she is responsible for PR and CSR affairs, assisting Chunghwa Telecom's public affairs in becoming a domestic benchmark.
 
During the interview, which lasted just 20 minutes, Ms. Shen shared a wealth of experiences and observations, including the capabilities required for IR in Taiwan, how to efficiently manage multiple roles, building trust with business and finance units, establishing effective corporate IR systems and internal information inflow, crisis management, evaluation of ADRs and GDRs, and how small and medium-sized enterprises can establish CSR. There is an old saying  that One minute on the stage needs ten years practice off stage., you'll get to see the essence of Ms. Shen's experience!
